Vacation (noun): A period of time devoted to pleasure, rest, or relaxation.
We were on vacation last week at one of my favorite places in the world – the mountains of Tennessee.
We explored old churches and graveyards….
waded in a cool mountain stream, just above a small waterfall….
spent hours playing with cousins….
and had a few quiet moments to ourselves.
It was wonderfully refreshing!!

We are planning our weekly trip to Ocean City, but that's it for this year!

Sounds lovely! Tennessee is just beautiful. We tend to travel more in the fall/winter months. We love going to North Carolina that time of year. Summers are usually spent here at home at the pool and getting together with friends.

There is something to be said for traveling when it's cooler! Fall is a great time to see the mountains with all the leaves changing colors. It's been awhile since we were able to be in the mountains during that season.

We have plans to visit family here and there ~ nothing big this year…but with the move, everything around us is still very new! Lots to explore in our new town, so we'll count that as part of it all. =)
