Welcome to Girls to Grow!
Why that particular name for my blog?
I’ve been blessed with two precious daughters, and my heart’s desire has been to rear them for the glory of God. I write for other Christian moms, hoping to encourage them in their walk with God. Whether through deeper Bible study or a stronger prayer life, I trust that together we will grow and mature in our faith and parenting journey.
I’m Tracey Brewer. My first love is Jesus Christ, whom I accepted as my Savior as a young child. My second love is my college sweetheart, to whom I’ve been married for 32 years.
Our first daughter, Angel Marie, was stillborn due to anencephaly, a neural tube defect that was detected during a regular 18-week ultrasound. You can read more of her story in a seven-part series I wrote entitled My Story of God’s Goodness and Grace.
We were then blessed with two more daughters, now ages 22 and 20. One of them got married and graduated from college in 2023. She and her husband live in Pensacola, FL. The other daughter is a junior in college studying advertising and public relations. Seeing them become young women of faith is a delight…and a constant reminder to pray for God’s guidance and protection in their lives.
I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, excellent restaurant experiences, and spending time with our girls doing whatever they enjoy!
