It’s Family Picture Time

November 23, 2009 by Tracey 2 Comments

The day has come for our annual pilgrimage to the portrait studio for a family picture. As long as I keep it to once a year, my husband is happy to oblige. The outfits have been selected, the hair cuts obtained and the amount to be spent is firm.

We began this tradition when our first daughter was born (in December, no less) and have continued it every year – including the year our second daughter was born, also in December. Prior to that, it’s very rare that you would find an “official” photo of my husband and I together.

Yet with having children comes that urge to document the passing of time. So, if you’re driving around our town today and see a family of four in somewhat coordinating outfits, you’ll know that it’s that time of year again!

Do you have last year's family photo posted anywhere?

No, I had it on my blog for awhile, then took it off and think it was lost a couple of months ago when my computer crashed. I will, however, put our new one up on my blog sometime next week.
