The last two weeks have been full, fun, and a little exhausting!
I was able to spend a couple of days in Savannah with my husband on a work-related trip. The weather was beautiful, and we had a great time exploring the historic district (i.e. lots of walking, a bit of shopping, and some good eating!!)

I was home for a day, then headed to Columbia, SC for two days with my daughters at their school’s state-wide fine arts competition.

This past week was their spring break, and we spent the first half of the week in Virginia visiting my family.

As I’ve mentioned a time or two (ha!) it’s my older daughter’s Senior year. I can’t believe that she’ll be entering the final quarter of her high school career this week. I know these next two months are going to fly by!!

Sooo excited for your trip to musical Nationals coming up!!!
Potato Chip Toffee?!?! Salty/sweet is my ULTIMATE FAVORITE!!!!!!!
Me, too, and that toffee sounded so good!! My older daughter likes to make a similar recipe with saltine crackers, but I think the potato chips will add even more of a salty taste. Maybe I could talk her into making these for me 😉
Great minds! I bake almost never now – it’s allllllllllll Annelise! 👍😜
Enjoyed seeing your family photos. Congratulations on the musical competition wins! I enjoyed the YouTube song! Thanks for sharing. Trust all your VA family is doing well.
Thank you! My VA family is doing pretty well. Hope y’all are the same – good to hear from you!!
I’ve always wanted to explore Savannah but just haven’t done it. I’m jealous. 🙂
I try to remember to ask my husband how I can pray for him, but I forget so often. Thanks for the reminder!
We’d been to Savannah once before – over 20 years ago – so I didn’t remember a whole lot about the city. We stayed downtown and were able to walk to pretty much everything we wanted to see. The weather was beautiful, too. And it had been a while since just the two of us were out-of-two without the girls, so we enjoyed it!
