It wasn’t until we were in New York City a couple of weeks ago that I realized everyone in the family likes bruschetta. I’d ordered it in restaurants before, but this time my husband and daughters ate it, too. Ater we got home, I made The Pioneer Woman’s Bruschetta and it was so tasty!! I’ll definitely be making it again.
The video below is from our daughters’ school Christmas concert last week. This handbell song was my favorite of the four they performed. I was sitting pretty far back, so the video’s not as clear as I would have liked. Our daughters are the third and fourth ones in, if you start with the line of girls at the first table.
Just one Christmas party left, which is our Sunday School class breakfast tomorrow morning. All of the shopping and most of the wrapping is done, so I’m looking forward to a low-key Christmas Eve day. Hope you have a wonderful pre-Christmas weekend!
We lovelovelove bruschetta, too!!!
Super low-key Christmas planned here, as well ❤️
THANK YOU for sharing the handbell concert clip!!! I absolutely ADORE handbell music!!! Well done!
Thanks!! 🙂 Handbell choir is one of my favorite things that our girls participate in. I actually played in a handbell choir at our church a few times, and even though I read music, it was a lot harder than I thought it would be!
Your daughters’ performance was beautiful! I loved listening to it!
I enjoyed reading about Ann’s cozy things.
I have finished all of my shopping and wrapping, too, so I plan to spend tomorrow getting ready for Christmas dinner: baking sweet potatoes for a casserole and making some pies. Yum!
Sounds like a nice day at your house today!! My girls got up early this morning to watch one of their favorite Hallmark Christmas movies, but one has gone back to bed at this point 😉 I’ll be getting our Christmas Eve dinner ready, and catching up on a few household chores (mostly because I got sucked into a really good book yesterday, so didn’t accomplish much around the house in the afternoon 😉
Hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas!!
Oh, I have to ask what the book was! I’m always looking for a good book, as you know. 🙂
I just finished the sweet potato casserole after making three pies, and I’m done for today. Yea! With cooking, that is. I still have laundry to do. 🙁
The book was Murder at the Brightwell by Ashley Weaver. It’s not in a genre I normally read – it’s like an Agathe Christie type novel – but it was recommended by someone whose taste in books I generally like, so I gave it a try. Found out it’s the first in a series, so I’ll be reading the next one soon!
Merriest of Christmases to you!!
