I made this Pistachio and Coconut Cake last weekend for Father’s Day. It was delicious!!
Very excited that I’ll get to connect with my daughter today!! She’s been away at camp all week, and has another week to go. They don’t have access to their cell phones during the week, but get them for a limited amount of time on the weekend. I’ll have my phone close by all morning!
This past week we had Vacation Bible School at our church. There were several salvation decisions, and it was a good opportunity to serve in that ministry alongside others.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
I love the post about hospitality! I had one of my friends tell me one time that she felt we were good enough friends that she didn’t need to clean the house (or even vacuum) before we came over. She didn’t mind us seeing her dirt, and I’ve tried to be the same way. 🙂
God’s Steadiness in the Storm is such a wonderful picture of how God cares for us!
It goes against my natural tendencies of wanting everything to look “just so” 🙂 but I do think it’s great to have friends that you can welcome into your house no matter how things look!
Giving Kids Purpose: “Teach them that God doesn’t show them the next step until they obey the one He has shown them.” THIS!!!!!!!!!
YEEEESSSSSSSS re: comfortable hospitality!
Mmmmm, I LOVE pistachio!!!
I enjoy pistachios, too, once they’re shelled 🙂 I myself need to remember that truth about obeying one step before God shows me the next one!
