As I’ve mentioned in previous years, we typically celebrate Mother’s Day on Saturday night. It’s easier to find a restaurant without a long wait. Also, I really enjoy walking on the beach, so after supper, we drive to the beach and walk off some of those calories we just consumed!
This year, however, our older daughter’s scheduled to work tonight, so we celebrated last night! I’ll share pictures in next week’s Saturday post.
I’m blessed to have a wonderful, Godly mom in my life! I’m very thankful for her, and the love and encouragement she offers to me and our entire family.
To all the moms out there, I hope you feel loved and celebrated this weekend!!
I’m getting caught up on my blog reading! I missed it while we were out of town.
I enjoyed the Ten Truths Moms Should Know, and I loved the Life Lessons from the Sidelines! While it’s true about boys, it’s also true about girls. I try hard to be positive and encouraging when my girls play, but when the refs are bad, well, it’s hard. 😉
I know exactly what you mean about the refs 😉
Hope y’all had a great trip!! Can’t wait to hear all about it!
Back from Disney & the Summit (INCREDIBLE!!! Posting over the next 4 days, b/c it’s so overwhelming! :-D) and catching up!!!
Omigosh – “Life Lessons From the Sidelines” is written by my friend Liz Smith!!! We had our babies together!!! We haven’t gotten to get together in years, but what a happy surprise to see her smiling face when I clicked open that link! She’s a brilliant writer.
Whoa, do I need “How To Prepare Your Home for Guests: Christian Hospitality” – hospitality is not a natural gift for me at all.
Just read your first two Summit posts – so fun!!! And I majorly need help on the hospitality front, too! 😉
