And for a podcast I enjoyed this week, check out Jamie Ivey’s interview with Tricia Goyer on The Happy Hour. My favorite part is towards the end, when they talk about parenting. Here’s some of the advice I need to remember. When my teenage girls get on the “crazy” train, don’t take the ride with them. Say, “You go ahead and ride that crazy train. I’ll be right here when you get back.”
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
Oh my goodness, Tracey, thank you SO much for so kindly “saluting” my little perfect-family piece. 🙂 You are such a dear encourager and supporter to me. And look at your beautiful girls! Also, I have your “perfect peace” piece saved to read later today as a reward for, er, lesser activities. 😉 Blessings to you and your family as we count down to Christmas!
Same to you – hope your “countdown” to Christmas is going well! Still plenty to do here, but really looking forward to our schedule slowing down next week. Have a wonderful day!!
What a gorgeous pic of your girls!!!
Oh, wow: “The Christmas I Got What I Asked For (And What It Taught Me About Entitlement)” – YESYESYES!
Thank you 🙂 Glad you enjoyed that post – me, too!!
That’s a beautiful picture of your girls!
I’m sorry I’m so late getting to this; it’s been crazy-busy lately. Can you find a post on how to be less busy or how to get more done in less time? Or how to make fussy toddlers not need you so much? 😉
I enjoyed Kristen’s post, and I have to admit that I find it really funny. How could she not know that she would get nothing if she asked for nothing? 😉 Men are too literal-minded sometimes. 🙂
I also enjoyed the post about making habits not goals. So true.
If I find a post on either being less busy or getting more done in less time, I will certainly pass it on – after I apply it myself!! As I mentioned in another comment, next week SHOULD be at a slower pace, and I’m very much looking forward to that!!
