Favorite podcast this week: My Biggest Problem is Me on Family Life Today. Paul David Tripp talks about selfishness in our marriages. (This is part two of the message, which I enjoyed the most, but you could also check out part one, Ten Thousand Little Moments.)
I took these Sticky Pecan Cinnamon Rolls to our Sunday School class last week. I can’t give you a personal review because I didn’t taste them, but I brought home an empty pan, which is typically a good endorsement for a recipe!
And all in good fun…(though as my dad says, all good humor has a bit of truth in it)…
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
This is a great collection of helps, Tracey. And I love the graphic. It’s hilarious (and true!) Blessings on your weekend.
Thanks, Betsy! I appreciate your taking the time to comment. Hope you’re having a great weekend, too!!
All in good fun — but a little too true. 😉
Living in the South, I always find the posts about what to do with your children all winter long to be rather funny. However, those ideas would work well for our too-hot-to-be-outside summers, too. 🙂
Great suggestions for things to tell my children! I’m always on the lookout for ideas like these because I want to build my children up.
More good ideas in Fifty Ways to Love Your Children. I especially appreciated the ideas for quality time since that’s one of my children’s love language, and it’s directly opposite to my introverted self. While she craves time with people, I crave time to myself. 🙂
I just read something by Tripp lately about how my biggest problem is myself. Isn’t that a coincidence?
Yes, we would need those indoor activities more for summer time than for winter here, too! And since you mentioned time to yourself, I hope you’ve gotten to enjoy some of that this weekend! 😉
“10 Truths Every Homemaker Needs to Embrace” was just what I needed to hear, again. Quality reminder!
Completely agree with “How to Connect With Your Teen” too!
