Saturday Salutes

January 11, 2014 by Tracey 3 Comments

Since I so enjoy books and reading, I was interested in Mrs. Darcy’s first post in her series What’s on Your Bookshelf?  This post included a look at what’s on Crystal Paine’s bookshelves.

Carrie had a neat idea for making a New Year Memory Jar.

Hip Homeschool Moms has a fun experiment you could use with your kids in Ben Franklin’s Birthday Science Experiment.

I made Laura’s Raspberry Oatmeal Bars for breakfast one morning and they were good.  (At least my husband and I thought so.  Our girls have a thing about the texture of oats….)

One of my current projects is organizing and editing the photos on my computer.  I love coming across old pictures like this one.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Yes – I'll take a whole room of built-in bookshelves in a room with a leather chair, plush oriental rug on the floor, and a fire roaring in the fireplace!!

I'll take one of those libraries, too! And I love looking at old pictures of my children; it's amazing how quickly they grow up and change.
