I’m taking to heart Kara’s advice to Be Like the Sun.

If you have a child who’s beginning to read independently, check out Reading Level:  6 Tips for Choosing Just Right Books.

I feel like I could actually create pretty wall decor by following Jen’s post on Framed Fabric Art in Minutes.

Cassy has 5 Daily Reminders to Help You Keep on Budget and Tricia shares 40 Ways to Be Present in Your Child’s Day.

I tried the Best Ever Chocolate Oatmeal No-Bake Bars and those treats are dangerous to have in my refrigerator!!  I tended to eat these two or three at a time, and I’m not sure that’s a good thing – even though they’re made with relatively healthy ingredients.  I didn’t add the nuts or dried fruit, but may try mixing in chopped nuts next time (which would be after I’ve burned all the calories from this go-round…)

Heading off to the farmers’ market this morning in hopes of baskets of blueberries, juicy peaches, and ripe cantaloupe!  Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I'm not sure how I missed this post yesterday, but I especially liked the post about being present in my children's day. And the one about finding books for Sarah Beth to read was very helpful!
