Just One Decision

April 8, 2013 by Tracey 3 Comments

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us. ~ J.R.R. Tolkien

Time.

It’s our most precious commodity.

How we spend it shows our true priorities.  No matter what we say or what our best intentions may be, the activities to which we devote our time show what’s most important to us.

It can be wasted or redeemed, used purposefully or frittered away.

May we take the time that we have been given and use it wisely today.

Amen. I often think of that quote when I'm tempted to fritter away time.

You and I always seem to be thinking about the same things! Whenever I have a few minutes when there's nothing urgent calling me, I think, "What's the best way I can use this time?" I have realized that there is never enough time to get everything done that I want to, so I have to prioritize…all the time!

What a great question to ask yourself! I'm going to have to remember that.

Sometimes, if I have just a few spare minutes, I won't think I can accomplish much, so I will tend to "waste" them. I need to make better use of them, and I think that question would help!
