Jessica has been celebrating Christmas in July this week and gives us 12 Ways to Save Money on Christmas.
I’m getting ready for our oldest to head to camp for the first time on Monday. I know that she’ll handle it better than I (or her sister) will!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Prayers for your family this week as your oldest goes off to camp. We experienced that last year for the first time and it really was a wonderful experience for her.Of course, we were really happy to have her back home too. My girls just got home from spending 5 days with my parents. Next year my youngest will have an opportunity to go to camp. She's a bit less independent than our oldest so we thought we'd test the waters with family this year. Have a blessed week.
Thanks, Janet! Our daughter is looking forward to camp and is convinced she won't be homesick. 😉 She's stayed overnight with my parents on several occasions and, while she did fine, I could tell she missed us, especially by the third night.
I think I'll be fine during the day; it's when bedtime hits and she's not there to kiss and hug good night that I have a feeling I'll really miss her!
Thanks for the shout out! I'm glad you enjoyed that post! And I enjoyed reading the other ones you linked to.
Good luck with next week! You probably won't know what to do with yourself with only one child…except miss the other one.
You're exactly right!!
