Saturday Salutes

In Quality Time With My Girls I found the perfect idea for this year’s back-to-school gift for my daughters – a mother/daughter journal. I am often better at expressing myself through the written -rather than spoken – word and look forward to growing my relationship with my girls in this new way. I love traditions and am so excited about beginning this one!

Alicia at Alicia’s Homemaking has a new meme for Thursdays entitled Try New Adventures Thursday. This week she reveals how to stock your pantry for Asian cuisine.

Money Saving Mom just added an Income-Earning Ideas page to her site. My favorite way to earn a few extra dollars is by using Swagbucks for Internet searches. I’ve earned $40 in Amazon gift cards and $20 in cash from PayPal in the five months since I joined. I won’t get rich that way, but every little bit has helped in saving for our Disney World trip!

I have also received checks from reading e-mails with Inbox Dollars (it took a long time to earn this one) and completing surveys with Opinion Outpost. I also use Ebates when making online purchases so that I earn part of my money back!

Have you found any ways to earn a little cash from home?

Trust that you’ll have a happy and relaxing weekend!

That journal sounds like a great idea! I'll have to remember that for when my little ones get older! Thanks for sharing & for linking up:)
