Now I read aloud at bedtime chapter books we all three enjoy
Now I pack lunches for school and know what they’re eating
Now they love to surprise me by secretly doing chores without being told
Now the playroom floor is littered with doll dresses and pink Legos
Now the bathroom smells floral and girly
Now I know enough to help with homework
Now the refrigerator door is covered with pictures from art class and homemade magnets
Now shopping for clothes together is fun
Now they want to snuggle on my lap
Now I ease their hurts with hugs and kisses
So in this moment I pause, not remembering the past or anticipating the future, but celebrating…Now.

Wonderful encouragment to stop and embrace the NOW. It's so true that the good can be found at each stage, it's hard to step back to see it in the midst of seasonal struggles, but if you do, it makes life so much sweeter (and much more bearable). 😉
Enjoy the now..that is what I am praying for the strength to do as well!
oh… perfect. how often the now gets overlooked for yesterday and tomorrow….
This is really sweet. Such a good reminder to enjoy the moment.

So true about each age and stage having positives and negatives and you are so wise to focus on the positives. I have to constantly remind myself to focus on the positives of age two-and-a-half, even if the negative is throwing his sippy cup at me!
Now, I am reminded to celebrate. Thank you.
What a great post and what a great reminder to celebrate the NOW : )
