Saturday Salutes

November 9, 2013 by Tracey 2 Comments

Janet’s 7 Weeks to a Simplified Christmas – Week 1 has great tips to help you begin planning for the upcoming holiday.

I don’t have a son, but if I did, I’d want to follow Kristen’s advice in Raising Boys to Be Men of Faith:  4 Things We Can Teach Our Sons.

I was inspired by Amy’s weight loss in 60 Pounds Gone!

I tried a few new recipes this week.  These Cherry Bars were tasty and my twelve-year-old liked these Mini Corn Dog Muffins for lunch.  (I just used shredded cheddar cheese instead of the cubed Velveeta.)

Favorite easy decorating pin of the week…

Candles on a cake stand - such an easy holiday centerpiece!

Even I could do that!!

And I’m thinking this is on my table around Thanksgiving…

Turtle Pumpkin Pie – This recipe takes pumpkin pie to a whole new level, with drizzled caramel, chopped pecans and airy COOL WHIP Whipped Topping. Cue the applause.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
