Saturday Salutes

What Your Children Will Never Forget speaks directly to the heart of what I want for our family.

I realize that July 4th is over, but Aurie’s No Sew Flag Shirts are just adorable!

Courtney’s sister shares her List of Recommended Chapter Books for Children.  Some time ago, I read aloud to my girls Margaret Sidney’s Five Little Peppers and How They Grew.  At the time, I didn’t realize that the author had written a number of other books about the Pepper family.  My eleven-year-old just discovered them and was able to download several of them to my Kindle for free.  They have occupied her reading for the past week!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
