Saturday Salutes

April 14, 2012 by Tracey 2 Comments

Lisa gave some helpful Clothing Tips from a Plus-Sized Gal.  Most of her tips are applicable no matter what size you wear!

I’d like to try this Easy Half Braid in my nine-year-old daughter’s hair.  (She’s more open to hair experiments than my eleven-year-old!)

Having just visited Washington, D.C., last fall, I thought Jo-Lynne’s Advice for Family Travel in Washington, D.C., was spot on.

We’ve had some beautiful spring weather this week!  For lunch yesterday, I took our small, round, “snack” table outside to the patio, covered it with a tablecloth, and we dined on homemade pizza amidst blooming rosebushes!

As I’ve read Crystal’s weekly goals, I was inspired to check out the Couch to 5K program.  I am not a runner, but wanted to do something to help get my weight moving downward – and walking just wasn’t cutting it.  My husband and I started the program this week, so we’ll see how it progresses!

I bookmarked the "Couch to 5K progam" link so when I find time to start exercising, I'll know what to do. Thanks!

I put Annelise's hair in that "half braid" every day, and I've started doing mine like that for teaching Zumba, as well, b/c it keeps all fly-aways up out of your face, and it looks GORGEOUS!!! 🙂
