In my nightstand drawer is this journal.
In it, I’ve written down some of the cute and funny sayings my daughters’ uttered when they were younger.
Unfortunately, it’s not as full as I would like it to be. I didn’t begin using it as early as I could have and I’m sure some of the things I’d like to have recorded have been lost forever. I encourage mothers of toddlers to have a plan in place for documenting those precious expressions as you never know when one will slip out!
Recording memories – be it through words or pictures – is something I want to do for myself as well as my children and having a designated place to keep them works well for me.
