My grandmother first introduced me to this pie years ago; once I sampled it’s unique taste, I couldn’t get enough! You can’t beat it for availability of ingredients and ease of preparation. I prefer this pie room temperature or chilled, but you can also serve it warm.
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup Bisquick
1/3 cup butter (melted)
1 teaspoon vanilla
Pour into blender and blend for 30 seconds. Grease pie plate. Pour into dish and bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool slightly before serving.
