One of the pleasures I’m enjoying as my daughters grow older is the interests they develop. Some of these pass after a couple of weeks, while others linger for months and may turn into lifetime pursuits.
My third grader was recently studying birds in Science. During a trip to the library, she asked for help in finding a field guide on birds. We checked out two, one of them a guide to birds you might see in your own backyard.
