As I shared last week, we follow pretty much the same bedtime routine with the girls each night. Now that school has started, I have to make sure we begin that routine early enough that the girls are in the bed with lights out by 8:30 P.M.
As for myself, if I’m going to roll out of bed when my alarm goes off at 5:25 A.M., I need to be in the bed by 10:00 P.M. Even though I caught a brief afternoon nap on Sunday, my eyes were still getting heavy by 9:45 P.M.
Since it’s still quite light into the late evening, I have to watch the clock to make sure I start the bedtime process in plenty of time. It makes the mornings at least a bit easier when everyone went to bed on time the night before!
