Last week my husband decided that we (um, he) would fix up the girls’ bathroom, which is also our guest bathroom. It hadn’t been painted since we moved in over two years ago and desperately needed it. We also wanted to replace the linoleum flooring, pictured below.
The first step was removing the linoleum.
I wanted to paint the walls a soft yellow, but I have had difficulty in previous homes finding just that right shade. It always ends up being a bit too bright! Our update included painting the walls in a color called Lemon Chiffon that turned out to be lovely; removing the linoleum flooring and putting down tile; and hanging a new light fixture and mirror. I also removed the large picture that hung over the toilet (the only space for artwork in the room) and will be looking for something new to put up there.
I’m very happy with how it turned out and very grateful to have a husband who is good at so many things, including bathroom makeovers!!
